The lodge offers stunning views, spacious and clean rooms, and well-designed interiors. the host is welcoming and knowledgeable, providing great local tips. the breakfast is outstanding.

I stayed at Rimu Lodge for a weekend getaway and it exceeded my expectations. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the room was clean and modern. The views of the river were breathtaking and added to the overall charm of the place. The breakfast provided was outstanding, with a delicious selection of French toast, eggs Benedict, fruit, yogurt. Sue Ellen, the host, was attentive and provided a relaxed atmosphere. This B&B is a convenient stop off Highway No. 6 and the best B&B experience I had in NZ.

The rooms at Rimu Lodge were absolutely amazing! They had everything we needed, from insect screens on the windows to a flat-screen TV. The beds were so comfortable, and we loved having a separate sitting area to relax in. The views from our room were breathtaking, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience.

Personally, I could have done without the bath robes in the room. But hey, some people might enjoy them!

Exquisite lodge with jaw-dropping views, immaculate decor, and attention to detail. Super helpful host, excellent breakfast included.

The rooms at this lodge were absolutely incredible, with sumptuous decor and amazing views. the mattress topper on the bed was like sleeping on a cloud, and the sheets were so luxurious. the complimentary night cap and turn down service with chocolates were such lovely touches. the breakfast was also outstanding, with a choice of Eggs Benedict or French toast, both of which were delicious. And the location was perfect, with stunning sunsets and great opportunities for star gazing.

The limited choice of walkable restaurants in the area. this was a fantastic experience and I only wish I could have stayed longer.

What a lovely fireplace and delicious homemade breakfast. The town nearby has quite a variety of places to eat, so I hope waistbands can stretch!

All that amazing food. and no gym to work it off!
